Algonquin Hotel

Dublin Core

Title Algonquin Hotel
Description The Algonquin Hotel became known as a gathering place for New York writers and theater people shortly after World War I, when the Round Table rose to prominence as a lunchtime institution famous for sharp remarks and witty retorts. The participants themselves drifted away after a decade or so, but the image remained.
