Letter from Dorothy Parker to Harold Ross, with lithograph of Edna Ferber by Ruth Hammon

Dublin Core

Title Letter from Dorothy Parker to Harold Ross, with lithograph of Edna Ferber by Ruth Hammon
Description Dorothy Parker, whose acerbic book reviews in The New Yorker delighted everyone except the unfortunate authors, was a longtime friend of the editor, Harold Ross. He welcomed everything she wrote, and she responded with grateful affection. The novelist Edna Ferber was also a regular at the Round Table, though the constant exchange of lacerating remarks led her to call the group "the poison squad."
