New York Cooking School

Dublin Core

Title New York Cooking School
Description More than a thousand pupils a year attended classes at Juliet Corson's school on St. Mark's Place. Ladies paid 10 dollars for 12 lessons, and the wives and daughters of workingmen paid 50 cents—or whatever they could afford. Miss Corson said she never turned anyone away for lack of money.
