These are timings for a projector that projected images during a multimedia performance at Black Mountain College in 1952. Often considered the first "happening," the event featured performances by dancer Merce Cunningham, pianist David Tudor, and poet Charles Olson. Robert Rauschenberg suspended his "White Painting" from the ceiling and played phonograph records during the performance.
