Harvey Gibson Promotes the Fair's Finale

In a promotional spot broadcast in the final months of the 1940 season, Head of the Fair Harvey Gibson encouraged visitors to grab their last chance to visit the Fair. "It is true, I believe, that most of us seldom count our blessings while we have them. We seldom appreciate good health until it's gone. We seldom notice the warm sunshine until a cloud shuts out its warmth. On the 27th of October, one of our greatest blessings, one of the greatest inspirations to all America, young and old alike, will be gone..."
